Big Heart and Topless Dolls
"So Girlie, whatchya doing with all those topless Polly Pockets?"
"They're giving their tops to charity...and their pets too because they thought that would be a nice thing to give."
"Okay then. Great job, Sweetie."
What you can't hear is the tune Girlie is humming while she lines up the charity offerings. I asked her about it and she said it was the charity theme song. I really can't wait to pie hole my blog (add audio).
Editor's note: Her game continues and I overheard her say that one of the Polly Pockets would have to donate a whole man to charity. (Hee hee.) And now thieves are stealing from the charity pile. I love imagination.

I love the sing-the-made-up-song-while-you-play routine. I need a teeny tiny tape recorder so that I can capture it.
But sacrificing a person to charity? Well, generous is one word for it...
I love that. My kid is still neurotic enough to leave them exactly clothed as they came in the box. She does it with all dolls.
if she's donating a whole man to charity, let me know which thrift store :)
That rocks! I love her idea and wish I could hear her tune.
My daughter spends endless amounts of time lining up toys. It's in our nature to waste time in lines.
Now she is just plain adorable. She and my son would have such fun together - that is totally something he'd do.
Isn't it wonderful to listen in on your child's imaginary play? You wonder how their little minds work. As a side note, ALL of my daughters dolls are naked...what is up with that?
I love that! It is so encouraging to see that there are kids out there who still play and have imagination (which is quite plentiful in girlie's case!). And I love the man donation. Before you know it she's going to be acting out Lysistrata with those Polly Pockets.
OMG, you have raised an awesome child! How sweet is that! And donating a man, what a great idea :) Thanks for all the info on your paintings. Very reasonable!
Next you'll have to explain to her about tax deductions. Although, I don't what type of a deduction she'd get after donating a whole man. Maybe in bits and pieces...
I believe that's how Barry Manilow got started in the themesong-writing business. And yes, I do mean while playing with naked Polly Pockets.
